HZAUers Brings Home Gold Award from Academy Award

Recently, the autumn ceremony of 2021 Academy Award of Advertising Festival of Chinese College Students came to its climactic end. The entry “Life Plan B”, which was created by Yang Lingyun, Wang Jing and other students under the guidance of Qiao Tongzhou and Nie Yi from the College of Humanities & Social Sciences, won the Gold Award of Postinor Group’s Marketing Planning of the Academy Award (only one nationwide).
This autumn, more than 1.5 million college students from 1,830 universities participated in the competition, and 24 brand topics harvested more than 400,000 creative entries. The Academy Award will be awarded according to categories. This year, Postinor participated in the Academy Award for the first time, with six categories of competition: print advertising, micro movies, short videos, marketing planning, advertising copy and peripheral design.
Through five steps including market analysis, marketing strategy, creative expression, media strategy and budget allocation, Yang Lingyun team from the College of Humanities & Social Sciences adopted a combination of online and offline methods to promote the brand image and spread the brand concept among female consumers in campus, workplace and family. The entry “Life Plan B” was highly praised by the Academy Award Organizing Committee and Postinor judges for its compact structure and clear organization, and finally won the Gold Award of Postinor Group’s Marketing Planning.
The Academy Award of Advertising Festival of Chinese College Students is a national award for China’s advertising industry approved by Chinese government and agreed to be established by the State Council. The awarding held in spring and autumn calls on college students in China to bring innovative entries for famous companies at home and abroad, and creates professional activities for students majoring in advertising, marketing, communication, art, design, new media, animation, etc. It wields considerable influence among colleges and students in the communication and advertising field.
