When it came to university life, some students mentioned the need for improvement of Boyuan dormitories and the issues concerning hot water supply. Guo shared his previous learning experience at HZAU with students. He stated that the advancement of student dormitories was essential to fulfill students’ aspiration for a better life. Despite of the old facilities and decoration of Boyuan dormitories, they hold the precious memory of generations of HZAU students. In recent years, the university has made more efforts to invest in the construction and renovation of dormitories, with an aim to make it more comfortable to live in, and better unleash its educational function. He explained the reasons for the scarce of land left for university buildings and student accommodations from the aspects of national policies and land planning on campus. In addition, he said that although HZAU was rich in land and resources, buildable land was still limited. Students were expected to understand and support the design and construction of HZAU, and devote themselves to building a harmonious and beautiful campus covering five square kilometers.

Therefore, you are encouraged to have a deep insight to the professions, industries and market, and grasp the valuable opportunity for entrepreneurship,” he suggested.

Concerning the construction of charging piles for electric bikes and new energy vehicles, he made extensive exchange with students on the development trend of new energy vehicles at home and abroad. “How can we ensure safety of electric bikes on campus?” “Where do the hazards lie in?” Guo inspired students to discuss the problems and concerns in view of the number of electric bikes and current traffic conditions of automobiles, electric bikes, bicycles and pedestrians on campus. He stressed that the fire safety of electric bikes should be given priority to. In addition, he called on students to charge and drive their electric bikes in line with regulations to guard the Campus “safety bottom-line.”
