Muhammad Moaeen-ud-Din, president of the Alumni Association, said that they will give full play to the role of Alumni Association as a bridge, uniting Pakistan students to make greater contribution to the friendly exchanges between two countries. That includes leading Pakistani alumni to give publicity to the culture of Chinese and our school so as to promote China-Pakistan friendship. Muhammad Shabban, as an alumni representative, made a speech on the spot, in which he recalled his campus life in HZAU, and expressed his gratitude to the university, teachers and classmates. He also said that he would back to school in October, to the memorable Shizi Mountain and South Lake, and meet dear teachers, school and Wuhan once more.

Zhou Chengzao issued letters of appointment of the first council of Pakistan Alumni Association. He said that the success and glory our university has achieved could not be secured without the efforts made by Pakistan alumni. For a long time, the majority of Pakistani alumni had actively participated in the construction and development of Pakistan as well as our university, which enhanced the friendship and exchange between both people. Zhou was glad to see that and he also expected everyone would make persistent efforts in this endeavor. As HZAU's 120th anniversary is just around the corner, our teachers, staffs, students and alumni are making full preparation for this event. We warmly welcome every alumnus to return to the university to witness the glory of the anniversary and work together forever. After the meeting, the school flag was passed.

Zhou and his fellows visited the Pakistan Commission on Higher Education, the Pakistan Agricultural Research Council, Pir Mehr Ali Shah Arid Agriculture University Rawalpindi (PMAS-AAUR), and Lahore University of Veterinary Animal Science (UVAS). During this period, members of the Consulate General in Lahar City, Pakistan witnessed the signing of a memorandum of understanding between school and UVAS. They also gave us affirmation for our active cooperation with Pakistani universities in responding to the National “Belt and Road” initiative, such as the establishment of overseas alumni associations.
