HZAU Ranks No.38 Based on the Average Results of Four Top Global Universities Rankings in 2017

It’s announced in the http://www.toutiao.com that HZAU ranks No.38 among universities in mainland China and No.678 among the world's universities. The results are based on the comprehensive rankings of the four top ranking institutions of global universities: QS and THE in the UK, U.S. News in the US and ARWU in China.

US NEWS Rankings
US NEWS is a comprehensive weekly magazine for American reports and commentaries with a full name of U.S. News & World Report because it’s the product of 1948 merger of American News and World Report. Moreover, this magazine enjoys the equal popularity with Time and Newsweek. US NEWS Rankings was first published in 1983 and has annually updated since 1985, making itself one of the best-known American universities rankings. Based on 10 indicators including universities’ academic performance and global reputations, US NEWS provides rankings and trusted references to help students around the world to explore the higher education options.

QS World University Rankings
Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) is a leading global higher education consultancy to provide information about the educational institutions and employers. Through various products and services, such as thematic conferences, publications, research reports and interactive network platforms, QS aimed at linking students around the world (Undergraduate, Master, PhD, MBA, and executive-level) with the educational institutions and employers best fitted to them. In 2009, QS published the annual World University Rankings in collaboration with U.S. News & World Report, The Chosun Llbo and The Sun of UK.

Times Higher Education World University Rankings
Times Higher Education (the former Times Higher Education Supplement), affiliated to The Times before 1971, is a higher education newspaper published in the UK. After January 2008, it began to publish in the form of magazine. THE is the global university performance table to judge the top 980 universities across all of their core missions: teaching, research and international outlook including the number of international students and staff.

Academic Ranking of World Universities
The Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU for short), a Chinese national research project, was first published in 2003 by the Center for World-class Universities(CWCU), Graduate School of Education of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, China, and updated twice on an annual basis. With high reputations for its objective rankings data, ARWU, the first global university ranking in the world, mainly focuses on the research performance of colleges and universities.
