HZAU won Bronze Medals in ACM-ICPC Asia Regional

Two HZAU teams won bronze medals in the E-C Final of the 40th ACM International Collegiate Programming Contest (ACM-ICPC) Asia Regional closed on 13th, December.

This year saw the first EC-Final held in Asia, with participants from the top 35 universities in the first five rounds in Asia Regional. Phantom Lancer and Arethusa from HZAU were granted the bronze awards.

The coach told Nanhu News, the two medals marked HZAU had made a breakthrough in the E-C Final in terms of both quantity and quality. “This will lead to continuous improvements in our performance in ACM-ICPC”.

As ACM-ICPC Asia Regional 2015 has come to an end, 20 teams have been selected to compete in the World Final to be held in Thailand in May, 2016.
